Goa draws you in and keeps you under its spell with several beautiful, expansive beaches on which to spend the day, some of which are excellent for snorkelling and diving. For the more active types there's kayaking, fishing, windsurfing and parasailing to enjoy.

If you can tear yoursef away from the beach, spend a few hours exploring the ruins of a 17th century fort or the local aviation museum.
