Ajaccio - Corsica

Famed as the birthplace of Napoleon Bonaparte, Ajaccio is crammed with fabulous restaurants and interesting shops with specialise in local handmade soaps and bath products.  More of a foodie?  Be sure and take home some of the local honey instead.    Originally ruled by the Genovese, you’ll still find an Italian influence in the food and some of the local street names.
